LESS THAN A WEEK LEFT AND TICKETS ARE ALMOST SOLD OUT! (REALLY!!!)This is our 19th year and we will salute the careers of six people for their achievements in Journalism including Brent Staples from The New York Times, Art McFarland from WABC-TV, The late Paul Douglas from CBS News and Janice Huff from WNBC-TV for her Community Service and a Trailblazer Award to Farai Chideya of National Public Radio.


There will be a special tribute to those we lost last year including Ed Bradley, Phyl Garland and Gerald Boyd.


NYABJ will also announce its contribution to the Romona Moore Scholarship fund at Hunter College, and the winners of its other scholarships.


Our dinner this year will be held on Thursday, February 15th in Columbia University's Roone Arledge Auditorium at 6pm and will be hosted by Sandra Bookman from WABC and Maurice DuBois from WCBS.


We will also have a special live performance after the ceremony. Buy your tickets as soon as you can. We look forward to seeing you there.
