Hi Eric I have been reading your work for a while now.I just Published a book called Platnum Dreams lead Reality.Its real life storys of Rappers hustlas pimps and plays that have lost their lives in the street and drug game in Various ways.Im a Spokenword/Rapper/Percussionist/Nurse and I served 6 years in Prison.I'm a nurse and a HIV Specialist.But after Saving Lives and being Injured at 9/11.I decided to regroup with my Writing.Im widely Amnthologised,now as wellmy second book. writing this First 'Hip hop'' book I go to schools and colleges to speak.I worked with the Gangs witgh Hilltop Village and I had Workshop ideas for the suits and they ''loved'' the ideas for Violence/HIV deterents..but It wasnt their kids..Just ''our little brothers.So nothing new and innovative got done the suits just keep making Huge Salerys and the Urban Kids go to Jail,instead of staying out with new skills .I wanted to show them how to record burn/and do the graphics for thier own ''CD''.they loved the idea.Graphics is a good tool for learning.Im writing you because maybe with you bussiness connections you might know of a speakers org.that i could work with.I also jsut finished a Prison Memoir called Assata an The Baby Gangsta,...No this is NOT like ''a million little peices''I wrote it from real life to deter urban violence.if you have time please take a look at my site.I studied congas with 'Nana'' from Brazil(Creative music studio)African percussion with ''Alatungie''Im from Harlem and now study with one of his students from Home.hope you enjoy my work.The Village CVoice said like Langston Hughes/Walt Whitman. and Donald Goins.What do you say.
